The Ashton Building is building number 422 (grid reference D7) on the University Campus Map (PDF). It is just around the corner of the Victoria Building (building 421 on the University Campus Map) which is easily identified by its clock tower.
Car Travel
From the M62, at the end of the motorway, continue straight ahead onto Edge Lane (A5080, then A5047) and look for signs for Liverpool City Centre and the University. For sat-nav users, the post code for the University is L3 5TR.
There are three visitor car parks on the campus, two of them close to the Ashton Building. The first is P28 (grid reference C9) off Pemberbroke Place/Brownlow Street, the second is P14 (grid reference 14) off Mount Pleasant, shown on the University Campus Map.
Coach Travel
National Express provides coach service between Liverpool and many destinations in the United Kingdom. The National Express terminal in Liverpool is loctaed on Norton St, approximately ten minutes by foot from the University. From the exit, turn right and cross London Road into Seymour Street and Russell Street. Then turn left into Brownlow Hill and head towards Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral and Victoria Building with its clock tower.
Rail Travel
The Campus is just a ten-minute walk away from the nearest mainline station at Lime Street. Here are some travel times between Liverpool and other selected destinations:

To reach the University Campus by foot, take the main exit and turn left into Lime Street; then turn left again at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel and continue up Brownlow Hill towards the Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral and Victoria Building with its clock tower.
